barrels also exist) played mostly as an accompanying instrument
to the traditional Punjabi dance of Bhangra, the traditional dance
of Gujarat, Raas, and the religious music of Sufism, Qawwali.
This dholak is rope tuned. A professional, rod-tuned dholak is
also available.
